This is the first foal by our exotic stallion, Little Dobbins Steppins Treasurechest and the first colt out of our beautiful imported mare, Island Girl of Little Ridge.

We select our mares for their beauty, refinement, correctness and show record but EXPECT our stallions to stamp their individual mark on their foals. Treasurechest has done just that. "Australis" is the image of his sire in type and just as animated.

He is maternal brother to WTK's My Cherie Amour, the stunning arabian type black filly from last season (Youngstock Page) and WTK's Velvet Moon (Mares Page).

Its hard to breed the proudness into them but he seems to have it. His bloodlines maternally are based on HEMLOCK BROOKS EGYPTIAN KING X DEL TERAS and his sire carries the lines of ROWDY through LAZY N REDBOY and JEFFERSON HALLS GAMBLER and PISTOLS CASEY BRANAMAN. Paternally he of course goes back to KEWPIES DOLL ORACLE. His most famous relation would have to be WORLD GRAND CHAMPION, SEQUOIA MAJESTIC MIME, who has the exact same cross ROWDY over JEFFERSON HALLS JR in his pedigree as Australis's sire, Treasurechest.
